Privacy notice for applicants

Who is responsible for your data

The Kosova Rehabilitation Centre for Torture Victims (QKRMT / KRCT), Prishtinë, is the controller of the personal data you give in this application. For anything about your data, write to info@krct.org, quoting your application reference.

What we collect

• Your name, email address and telephone number, so that we can contact you. We do not create an account for you.
• The town or city where you live, your current employer and your notice period, if you give them.
• Your nationality. KRCT often employs staff from outside Kosovo, so we ask this of every applicant.
• Whether a member of your family works at KRCT and, if so, who. KRCT's HR Policy requires that hiring decisions involving relatives are made on merit alone and that conflicts of interest are managed, so we ask this of every applicant. A family member means a spouse or partner, sibling, parent, child or cousin of you or your partner, by blood, marriage or other legal relationship.
• Your CV and any cover letter or other document you upload.
• The date and time you applied, the language you applied in, and the version of this notice you agreed to.

We do not ask for your date of birth, a photograph, your gender, your marital status or an identity number.

Why we use it

We use your data only to assess your application for the vacancy you applied for, to contact you about it, and to keep a record of how the post was filled. We do not use it for any other purpose, and we do not sell or share it.

The legal basis

We process your data under Law No. 06/L-082 on the Protection of Personal Data: because you have asked us to consider you for employment, which is a step before a possible employment contract, and on the basis of the consent you give on the application form.

Who sees it

KRCT's human resources staff, the members of the selection panel for this vacancy and the Executive Director. Nobody outside KRCT sees your application. It is stored on servers in the European Union operated by our hosting providers, who process it only on our instructions.

How long we keep it

Your data is kept while your application is being considered. When a decision has been made on your last application to KRCT, your personal data is kept for 180 more days and is then erased: your name, contact details, nationality, answers and documents are removed, and only an anonymous record that an application was made remains. If you are offered a post and accept it, your application becomes part of your personnel file.

Your rights

You may ask to see the data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it erased; you may object to its use or ask us to restrict it; and you may withdraw your consent at any time, which withdraws your application. Write to info@krct.org with your application reference. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to the Information and Privacy Agency of Kosovo.

What to expect

This website does not send emails. When you apply you are shown a reference number: please keep it. KRCT reviews applications after the deadline and contacts only the applicants it short-lists.

Cookies

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The application form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that it is being filled in by a person.
